According to the news source, FBR has released almost 127 registered projects and suggests a total cost of 63 billion Pakistani rupees – as part of an incentive package for the construction industry announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to joint statistics, a further 108 developers are currently registering 114 projects with an expected value of 109 billion PKR. These registered projects originate from major cities in Pakistan, and the number is as follows: 61 in Karachi, 44 in Lahore, 10 in Faisalabad, 19 in Rawalpindi, and 30 in Islamabad.
According to an FBR notice, the prime minister encourages developers and builders to take over now and show concrete signs of success. 31st December is the last date of registration for the aforementioned construction industry incentive scheme’s projects mentioned above. Builders and Developers associations have reportedly urged the government to extend the plan, but the government has not responded to these calls.
