Islamabad: according to a news source, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan called for timely completion of the Rawalpindi Regeneration and Nullah Lai Expressway project, and Gujranwala Development Plan.
Prime Minister chaired a meeting in Islamabad. He said that the government is paying extra attention to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enhance the economy.
“The federal government will extend all possible cooperation for the implementation of a regional development strategy,” he said.
Moreover, keeping in view Gujranwala projects, the government plans to work on the development of agriculture, services sector, and services to exploit potential in the Gujranwala division.
Similarly, he stressed to give importance to these areas. Also, he said to give the areas special attention including knowledge and technology, infrastructure, communication, rural development, and environment.
Furthermore, the Nullah Lai Expressway project will change the outlook of Rawalpindi city by creating economic activity.
