Lahore: according to a news source, on Tuesday, balloting for LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments held at CM office. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar pressing a computer key for the allotment of 2000 housing units out of 13,277 applicants.

Moreover, CM Buzdar asked the successful applicants to approach the Bank of Punjab or nominated banks for further process.

Further, the cost of one Naya Pakistan apartments is RS2.7 million. Similarly, there is an opportunity for allottees to apply for subsidy as well. Moreover, the allottees with subsidy will have to pay 10% of the total amount as a down payment. On the other hand, others need to pay 21%. Allottees need to pay the remaining payment in monthly instalments after occupation.

Furthermore, besides the employees of the Lahore Development Authority, the employees of federal and provincial governments will get the apartments in the first phase. Moreover, he told that as more than 13000 applications received. It shows public trust in the project.

Similarly, he said that the apartments will be allotted to the applicants soon. He said that the standard of the apartments is much better than any private housing scheme.

On this occasion, provincial ministers Murad Raas, Mahmood ur Rasheed, Aslam Iqbal, chief secretary, information secretory, SACM Firdous Ashiq Awan, LDA Vice Chairman S M Imran were also present.

 Further, the chief minister said that no Muslim can show irreverence to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He also added that some opposition political parties politicized the matter. Moreover, the opposition leaders tried to add fuel to fire but their nefarious designs frustrated, he said.

Finally, he said that at the time of promoting unity, the opposition tried to divide the nation. Similarly, “irresponsible attitude will be remembered in bad words,” he said.
