ISLAMABAD: CDWP (Central Development Working Project) approved the Karachi Transformation Plan with an estimated cost of Rs 739 billion at a meeting chaired by the Jahanzaib Khan – Vice Chairman of the Planning Commission.
As part of this initiative, the authorities will renovate various facilities, including sewerage treatment, solid waste management, drainage system, water supply systems, and improve road connections and public transport systems.
The project will be implemented under the PSDP (Public Sector Development Program) and PPP (Public Private Partnerships).
The meeting was also attended by senior officials from the federal ministries/ divisions, Planning Committee, and other related representatives.
