In this regard, the chairman said that efforts have been made to re-investigate individual projects with the help of the NAB and the FIA. Simultaneously, the Development Authority is also in view of including the State Bank of Pakistan in the investigation to help investigate the claims.
The opportunity is also taken by the chairman to shed light on the numerous projects of development being implemented by the Rural Development Authority, including the project of Rawalpindi Ring Road. In relation to this project, Mr. Mahmoud said that PM Imran Khan and Sardar Osman Buzdar (Minister of Punjab) are expected to soon lay the cornerstone at the project site.
Updates regarding the progress made on the Gazi Barotha water supply project is also shared by him and said that the federal government will bear 50% of the project cost.
