Lahore: According to a new source, Chief Minister of Punjab – Sardar Osman Buzdar has approved the construction of a flyover and two underpasses to solve transport problems in the provincial capital – Lahore.
The CM of Punjab also instructed the interested parties to prepare a feasibility study for the above projects by December 30. After approval, a flyover will be built to solve transport problems in Gulshan Ravi and Samanabad. The cost of construction of the aforementioned project is estimated at around 1.5 billion Pakistani rupees. Likewise, underpasses will be built at the Gulab Devi junction on Ferozepur road. It will be the first construction underpass next to the metro bus corridor, which is estimated to be worth 1.10 billion Pakistani rupees.
The other project involves the underpass construction at Akbar Chowk, the reconfiguration of which has been transferred to the LDA (Lahore Development Authority).
