City officials have announced partnerships with local companies to create an industrial zone. According to a news source, the decision was made at a meeting chaired by Commissioner Sayed Gulzar Hussein Shah.
The meeting took place online, and the meeting was also attended by other senior officials and deputy officials from the Gujranwala and adjacent cities. The event was also attended by former and current heads of local chambers of commerce.
Besides the decision to create an industrial zone, the assembly also decided to claim the rights for Gujranwala Expo Center.
The meeting also discussed various measures that can contribute to developing the country’s export sector. Besides, they urged Pakistani consulate officials overseas to coordinate with the local exporter community to meet overseas markets’ needs better.
