Islamabad: According to a news source, the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved 13 development projects worth Rs 322.44 billion at a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafiz Sheikh.

Rs 13.260 billion of funds will improve primary health care facilities in four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials said, and build a four-lane Swat highway for the second phase from Chakdar to Fatehpur, Rs. 20 billion will be used.

As per details, capital is distributed for the development projects as for the reconstruction of the Shikarpur-Rajanpur section of the Indus highway (N-55), around Rs 44.704 billion will be used, Rs 25.552 billion will be used for the Greater Karachi Water Supply Plan (K-IV) 260 MGD (Phase I). )), Rs 24.494 billion Sindh Resilience Project (irrigation component), Rs 46.98 billion for the Nai Gaj Dam project for Dadu District, Rs 43.383 for the 69 km (four-lane) Sambrial-Haryan motorway, and Rs 14.75 for the Project integrated water resources management and development in Baluchistan.
