Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has lowered the cost of the 650 sq. Ft to Rs 2.224 billion in the first phase of the Naya Pakistan housing project in Lahore.
The authorities also approved a modified PC-1 worth Rs 9.917 Billion.
The cost of a one-storey house with an area of 650 square feet used to be 3.855 million rupees.
The project, covering 8,500 Kanals, will include 35,000 housing units, and infrastructure, including road network, drainage, electricity, water, and sewerage, is scheduled to be completed within 3 years.
LDA hired a technical consultant and performed the engineering design of the residential complex and associated infrastructure.
