Islamabad: The CDA’s pending ‘built-up property’ award for 7 residential sectors of the city is to be made public. After this award, the owners of the land in these sectors will become eligible for alternate plots.
CDA officials further revealed that the said sectors C-13, C-16, D-13, E-13, I-17, H-16, and F-13 should have received the award at the time of land acquisition to stop additional construction. Director Land Shafi Marwat stated that the authority had been working to announce the award in almost all sectors that underwent land acquisition. He added that the CDA expected to complete the task within a couple of months.
