According to a news source, Additional Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce, Government of Pakistan, Manzoor Hussain said that provincial government formulated the rules to allocate the land for Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The rules are formulated for allotment of land in industrial zones in Balochistan and land records are being fully computerized.
Further, following these measures, the land will be allotted to those industrialists who will invest in the fixed period.
Furthermore, MD Jida Ata Ajogezai said that the provincial government would soon allocate 20,000 acres of land for the Special Economic Zone in Gwadar.
Additional Secretary Industry Manzoor Hussain said that there were some problems in the allotment of land in an industrial zone in Gwadar. Further, Chief Minister Jam Kamal has taken special steps to address them. Laws have now been framed for the acquisition of land. He said that work on development projects in Gwadar is underway under CPEC.
