According to a news report, the district budgeting committee has set purchase prices for the land of a River Ravi Urban Development Project. Land rates have been decided at the tehsil level for 22,990 Kanals and in Shalimar City for 91,096 Kanals.

14,086 Kanals of land will be acquired in the project’s first phase, while a total of 613,785 Kanals will be developed in a city. Altogether, the land will come from 90 muazas of Ferozewala and 32 muazas of Lahore. In the meantime, during the project’s first phase, the land will be obtained from 9 muazas of Lahore and 17 from Shalimar muazas.

Moreover, in Baghbanpura mauza, 3,578 kanals of land have been divided into residential and agricultural lands.  Residential plots will be purchased by 260,000 pkr/marla and Agricultural land will be purchased at Rs 6.8 million/acre.

In Mauza Mahmoud Booti, residential land will be purchased at Rs 110,000/marla, and agricultural land will be purchased at Rs 7.3 million/acre. In Kot Khawaja Said, residential land will be of 120,000 pkr/marla and agricultural land will be purchased at Rs 6.8 million/acre.

In Mauza Lakhu Der, the residential land will be purchased at pkr 120,000/marla while agricultural land can be purchased at pkr 7.25 million/acre. However, in Saggian Wasanpura, residential land can be purchased at 120,000/marla and agricultural land can be bought in 4.3 million/acre.

In Rakh Chabeel, the residential plot can be bought in Pkr 370,000/marla, and in Shahabpura, it can be purchased in Pkr 200,000/ marla. In Mauza Tajgarh, the price of a residential plot will be 350,000/marla, and agricultural land will be purchased in 6.7 million/acre while the price of residential land in Mauza Rampura will be Pkr 370,000/marla.
