Islamabad: The government has named three major districts Loralai, Khuzdar, and Dalbandin as ‘marble cities’. According to the Minister for Industries of Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, Muhammad Khan Toor Utmankhail, this move is a part of a strategy to attract foreign and local investor’s attention towards the mining sector.
As there will be establishing of the dedicated markets at the marble cities, these will become new hotspots for employment generation to around 30,000 locals and the entire province would benefit from this decision.
In the area, all the marble industry facilities will be provided to make it a fine spot for investment. The move will also help fulfill the demand of various varieties of marble in the country and foreign markets.
